Lightplan for pig farm in Czech Republic

Together with Ecolight, DLV Advies developed a lightplan for a new build pigfarm in Czech Republic. The farm will be build for 2.800 breeding sows and their younsters.

The plan had to make sure that the level of light would be 80 lux on animallevel everywhere in the building. DLV Advies was chosen to advice because they did some succesfull tests with light on a pig pilot company in Sterksel, the Netherlands.
The advice for the pig farm in the Czech Republic is LED-light with Tira-lightning. With this technology homogenous light intensity was created. This technology is NH3-proof and easy to mount. Compared to traditional lighting, 50% less electricity is used and it is cheaper.
