Model Farm in China
Model farm foced on housing and livestock.DLV Consultancy is developing a model farm focusing on housing and livestock on behalf of a forward-looking feed manufacturer in China.
A new farm is being built for 500 sows, 2,000 piglets and 1,200 fatteners. Construction manager Jos de Groot is supervising the project. He has already been to China several times to discuss aspects such as the starting points for the design. Communication also often takes place via Skype.
The project is currently in the design phase. Draughtsmen, designers and climate control specialists are working with housing designers and local specialists to come up with the best design.
